AHVA Bulletin No. 2022-0905
Dear AHV Neighbors,
We would like to inform you that effective October 1, 2022, vehicles of non-residents with expired stickers and/or without the new/required AHVA stickers shall no longer be allowed entry into the village unless they surrender a valid government-issued ID to the gate guards.
We would like to especially point out that vehicles bound for San Beda College without the Yr 2022 -2023 AHVA Non- Residents / DMB stickers and attempting to enter Gate 3 will be stopped at the gate and will not be permitted entry unless they surrender their valid ID’s . (As per current practice, the IDs will be retrievable upon exit via the same gate.) We can expect enforcement of this policy/regulation to lead to traffic buildup at the gate. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you and ask for your understanding. This is a necessary action that we must take especially to keep the village safe and secure.
The application deadline for non-residents’ stickers was the 30th of August. However, as a large number of non-residents, including San Beda College-bound vehicles, had not renewed their stickers as of the cut-off date, the Board decided to extend the deadline for one month. The deadline will not be further extended beyond the 30th of September. FYI, we reached out to San Beda authorities much earlier on to make them aware of the original August 30th deadline but unfortunately many had not complied.
To mitigate the foreseen negative effect on traffic, we have requested San Beda to allow us to set up a satellite sticker application booth in their campus from the 28th to the 30th of September. We are awaiting San Beda’s response.
Rest assured that our deputized security and roving guards, with the assistance of the traffic enforcers from Brgy. Cupang and the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB), will implement appropriate measures to address the anticipated congestion at the gates, especially Gate 3, as well as our main thoroughfares most especially Don Manolo Boulevard.
Thank you.
AHVA Board of Directors
