Bulletin No. 2022-0512

Dear AHV Neighbors,

The AHVA Security & Disaster Management Committee, AHVA Admin Committee, Village Manager Lanie Rosas and Staff, and we, are happy to announce we will be conducting a Home Fire Prevention & Safety Seminar for yourselves and your household staff on Saturday, the 28th of May, 8:30 to 11:30 AM, at the Multi-purpose Pavilion.

As a Covid Alert Level 1 precaution, we will need to limit the number of participants to 90 pax coming from amongst yourselves and your household staff. An additional 10 pax will be coming from the AHVA Admin and Maintenance Staff to ensure they will be well trained to put out fires should any eventuate in our office or nearby premises. We will therefore have a total maximum of 100 participants at the event.

To participate in the seminar, please register online on the AHVA website. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis. Please log on to the AHVA website, click on the EVENTS tab, and then click on “Fire Prevention Seminar” to access the Registration Form.

Alternatively, you can click on the following link. It will take you directly to the Fire Prevention & Safety Registration Form if you are already logged on to the AHVA website. If not, you will be asked to log on to the website first, after which you will be led to the Registration Form.

If you are unable to log on to the AHVA website and complete the online registration process, you can come to the AHVA Office during office hours and the Help Desk will assist you in registering.

After you complete the registration process, a Confirmation Email will be sent to your email address on record.

What you could expect at the seminar:
• Interactive training on home fire prevention & safety measures
• Demonstration, with audience participation, on the proper use of fire extinguishers
• Display of fire extinguishers and an opportunity to have your existing fire extinguishers refilled, and/or, acquire new ones
• Mock-ups of a kitchen, living room, and a bedroom

The seminar will be facilitated by the Bureau of Fire Prevention (Muntinlupa City), the Security & Disaster Management Committee, and a Certified/Licensed Electrician.
