SECURITY & DISASTER MANAGEMENT UPDATE

Dear AHV Community Members,

We are pleased to inform everyone that the Board, thru the Security and Disaster Management Commmittee, has made some significant changes in the village security organizational structure.

1. REASSIGNMENT of POSTS & DEPLOYMENT of TEAM LEADERS
-we have reorganised our security team to strengthen it and make functional accountabilities clearer. In line with this, we have obtained a change in the leadership of our security detail. It is now led by OIC Rolito Solarta. With oversight of Board’s Security and Disaster Management Committee, he has implemented a reorganisation of the security team that will ensure that gaters, roving and perimeter guards are more effective in performing their corresponding duties. We are hoping that Mr. Solarta’s 28 years of experience with the AFP, which includes a stint in its Intelligence Unit will be useful in his leadership of our security force.

2. ENHANCED COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
-the Association has hired the services of a civilian telephone operator to provide assistance to the existing radio operator in attending to voluminous calls from residents on deliveries, entries of service providers, expected guests, emergencies & other security concerns.

3. STRICT IMPLEMENTATION of VILLAGE POLICIES & CITY ORDINANCES
-PLEASE NOTE that our Security Personnel are now deputized by both the City and the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau. They are now empowered by the LGU to apprehend violators of village rules (such as dog littering and speed limit rules) and local government rules and regulations (such as curfew and mandatory wearing of face masks) and issue citation tickets to these violators.

For information of everyone about these village policies and applicable City ordinances, tarpaulins will be displayed in strategic areas in the village as well as in this Village Community Viber channel.

The Board is very optimistic that these changes will greatly strengthen as well as improve the security services in the village for the benefit of the entire AHV Community. We request for the cooperation of everyone.

Thank you!

AHVA Board
